MathTV.com began in 2008 as the result of a collaboration between Pat McKeague and six of his students. That summer, Mr. McKeague, as they called him, hired students to help with proofing and error-checking a college algebra textbook. When he saw how dedicated the students were to improving the book, Pat’s vision for MathTV.com was born. From its first iteration, MathTV.com featured online versions of his developmental math textbooks, video lectures, and math problems solved by peer-student instructors. Today, there are over 12,000 instructional videos on the site. Every example in every XYZ Textbook is worked on video by multiple student instructors.

Amy Jacobs, Vice President of SalesFavorite thing about working for MathTV Courses? The people working here, the atmosphere and being a positive solution for understanding developmental math. The feedback we get from students that have completed on our of courses is amazing. They all do well in the next course that they take at their school. If makes me feel like we are doing something worthwhile and helping people become who they want to become. The more courses we offer, the busier I am, and the happier I am.
